The Space Utilization subsystem of SpatialMMS is intended to provide the facility manager with information regarding the current utilization of space within the facility, the current location and data regarding computer equipment within the facility, and the current location and data regarding furniture within the facility.
Computer Equipment Analysis
This graphic depicts the variety of computer equipment in the lessor's space. The computers are indicated in yellow. Individual workstations are linked to records in the owner's database. The database includes, for each computer, the computer's name on the network, the date it was purchased, the current depreciated value, and information necessary to contact the manufacturer for service. The documents portion of this subsystem, like the other documentation abilities of SpatialMMS, allows for convenient access to computer documentation if it is loaded into the system.
Furniture Analysis
As with the computer section, the Furniture Analysis portion of SpatialMMS depicts the location of all company-owned furniture. The individual features (pieces of furniture) are linked to a database that includes information on when the piece was purchased, from whom, the purchase price, and the current depreciated value. The documents portion of this page allows the furniture items to be linked to copies of invoices, cut sheets, and other documentation that may be useful to the owner.
Space Occupancy
This screen identifies who the current tenants are, and the total amount of common area, leasable area, and total building square footage. The documentation portion of this page allows leases and other materials relevant to the tenants/occupants to be stored and conveniently accessed.
